Recycling pays big dividends environmentally, economically
Jan. 5 — If you want to know what USPS is doing to broaden its recycling efforts — both for environmental and business reasons — be sure to catch this month’s Going Green video from Sustainability Vice President Sam Pulcrano.
In this video, the third in the monthly series, guest Jeannine Turenne, director of Safety and Environmental Performance, explains how recycling trash not only is good for the environment, but how it also generates revenue for USPS. To the tune of some $12 million in FY 2008 — more than twice the amount earned in FY 2007.
